The development element of the group holds a significant share in the new joint venture that is developing Station Hill, Reading as well as the Tournament Fields site at Warwick.
The Station Hill joint venture is redeveloping a 5.2 acre site in the centre of Reading and is currently working up the revised planning application for the site. Sackville are working jointly with Stanhope and Benson Elliot in leading the development of this key site in Reading. The site is immediately adjacent to Reading station and will spearhead the redevelopment of this strategic quarter of the town centre.
Sackville recently completed and sold an award nominated 42,000 sq ft office development at Egham in Surrey.
At Warwick, Sackville Developments (Warwick) has completed the first, speculative, phase of the development – a small office scheme known as Tournament Court. This 63,000 sq ft, 17 unit development has been completely let or sold to a wide range of occupiers. A further self contained 15,000 unit has been built and sold and planning for a range of further buildings has been obtained. The entire Tournament Fields site, which extends to some 52 acres immediately adjacent to junction 15 of the M40, benefits from outline planning permission for approximately 720,000 sq ft of business space.
In addition to the planning permission in respect of the business occupiers, the site benefits from an approved healthcare planning permission.
