Impetus Automotive is set to receive an early Christmas present as it moves to a new head office in time for the festive period.
The automotive management consultancy firm is moving from its existing Leamington base in Clarendon Avenue to new headquarters at Tournament Court, which is part of the Tournament Fields development, in Warwick.
The company, which was established in 2002, has just secured the purchase of units 4a and 4b at the Tournament Fields business park, developed by Sackville Properties.
Bosses at Impetus Automotive decided to make the move to Tournament Court after its workforce grew from 108 in 2008 to over 200 this year.
Stephen Allen, managing director at Impetus Automotive, said “We needed to secure larger premises as our staff numbers have increased greatly over the past two years.
“Tournament Court was chosen because it gives us improved client facilities, is more easily accessible than our previous base and has staff and client parking.
“The location of the site was a major factor – especially the ease of access to the M40 as well as Warwick town centre.”
The sale of the 8,600sqft building was completed by two Leamington based property firms – Wareing and Company, who acted for the developers, and EHB Commercial, who acted for Impetus Automotive.
Andrew Wall, from Wareing and Company, said: “We are delighted to have helped Impetus Automotive secure a suitable new home in the area.
“Without a development of this quality right on our doorstep it would be likely that Leamington and Warwick would lose successful developing businesses like Impetus Automotive as it outgrew the area.
“But thanks to projects like Tournament Fields we are able to ensure that promising businesses remain in the region and provide a valuable boost to the local economy.
“We wish Impetus Automotive all the best for the future and we are sure the company will continue to be a huge success as it settles into its new home.”
